For homeowners who want the warmth and grain of real wood. Western red cedar resists rot naturally and ages to a silver-gray patina (or stays warm brown with annual sealing). Beautiful for the first 10 years, requires re-sealing every 2-3 years to last 20+. Best when you want a wood look and are willing to maintain it.
The most affordable structural option. Southern yellow pine with ACQ or copper azole pressure treatment. Best for budget-conscious projects, ground-level platforms, and decks that will be painted or stained dark. 15-20 year lifespan with regular maintenance.

Had this company replace soffit on my back porch. Wind damage caused it to buckle. Once soffit was pulled they found all aluminum soffit nailed to foam board, which was wrong to start, no insulation. They tore all of it down, added insulation, covered with plywood and then replaced aluminum soffit. They did a beautiful job and I would have them back for any kind of work on my home. Great guys, excellent service.
This company is responsive, professional, fair, and flexible. They were willing to work with us when we were in a pinch. Didn’t have work done ultimately due to scheduling conflicts on our end, but we had a great, communicative experience.

Jared and his crew were very helpful with our home issues. We had purchased a new home in just a month after living there realized the roof was leaking and we had water coming in the basement. They were able to get somebody out the same day to fix the roof leak. And they were also able to stop the water coming in through the basement quickly giving the circumstances and exploratory nature of water leaks. I would highly recommend them!
